KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • The three public ratings contradict each other. G2 shows 4.4 from 36 reviews, Trustpilot sits at 3.8 from 15, and Gartner shows 3.6 from 5 ratings. Added up, the entire independent record runs to roughly 55 to 60 reviews.
  • Support is the praise, and it is concentrated. Eighteen G2 reviewers call customer support the best part of the product, and the named account manager who earns most of that praise belongs to the paid Flex tier.
  • Region predicts the verdict better than anything else. Latin American reviewers are consistently happy; the complaints about slow delivery come from Central Europe, Mexico and India, all within the last twelve months.
  • Tequipy is the supplier worth pricing beside it for globally distributed teams: hardware at recommended retail price, 180+ countries through 600+ authorized local resellers, delivery in 3 business days on average, and a first order that commits you to nothing.

GroWrk reviews give three different answers depending on which site you open, and nobody reconciles them for you. As of September 2026, a buyer who reads the G2 profile signs with a 4.4-rated vendor, and a buyer who reads Gartner signs with a 3.6-rated one. Both numbers are real, both are current, and they describe the same company.

So this guide counts every published review, dates it, and sorts it by the two things that actually predict a reviewer's experience: which country they ship to, and which pricing tier they bought. Then it prices the alternative.

Dimension GroWrk Tequipy
Best for Teams hiring across the United States and Latin America Globally distributed teams buying, configuring and recovering devices in three countries, fifteen, or more

Country coverage 150+ countries claimed, 600+ certified resellers 180+ countries, 600+ authorized local resellers
Delivery time 7 business days claimed, 4 to 5 for in-stock items 3 business days on average, 10 business days at the outside
Lifecycle on devices bought elsewhere Not published Every service works on hardware somebody else sold you
Security SOC 2 Type 2 ISO 27001, penetration tested, Blancco certified wipes. SOC 2 in progress

A fourth number floats around the search results: the 94% score SelectHub publishes from 15 reviews drawn from a single review site. Where that figure comes from is the right place to start.

Who Is GroWrk Best For?

GroWrk homepage, the vendor behind the GroWrk reviews on G2 and Trustpilot

GroWrk was founded in 2019, runs remote-first out of San Diego, and Gartner lists it in the 51 to 200 employee band. Read the reviews by segment rather than in aggregate and three buyers emerge clearly.

  • Teams hiring across the Americas. Latin America is where the evidence is thickest and warmest. One information systems manager writes that "GroWrk has been a great solution for managing IT equipment for our teams across LATAM", in a 2024 G2 review.
  • Small teams that fit inside A La Carte. The free tier suits occasional buying. A VP of operations values "the flexibility of being able to purchase equipment on a need-by-need basis, without having to sign up for a plan", per his G2 entry.
  • Buyers who want one dashboard rather than a spreadsheet. Fourteen G2 reviews praise the interface. "The website's user-friendly interface has significantly streamlined our onboarding process for internal hires", writes an asset analyst in a November 2025 review.

Tequipy: An Alternative

Tequipy homepage for global device lifecycle management

The company was built by people who had already solved this problem once. A co-founder ran IT at Revolut through the stretch where headcount went from 100 in two offices to 5,000 across seventeen, and a weekly rotation of around 300 employees passed through without a single laptop going missing. What that turned into:

  • Hardware at recommended retail price. An $1,800 MacBook is invoiced at $1,800. The margin sits in the reseller relationship rather than on your invoice.
  • [Global device procurement in 180+ countries](https://www.tequipy.com/services/global-device-procurement). 600+ authorized local resellers buy in the country the employee lives in, so nothing crosses a border and customs never appears on the bill.
  • Delivery in 3 business days on average, 10 at the outside. Next day in most of the UK and the US.
  • Nothing to sign. No contract, no minimum, no volume requirement. A first order can be one laptop.
  • ISO 27001 certified, penetration tested, with a chain of custody kept for every device.
Item Price
Hardware Recommended retail price, delivery included
Platform $99 a month flat at any fleet size, free under 100 devices
Pre-configuration and MDM enrolment Free on devices bought through Tequipy
Offboarding collection $70 to $150 per device, by country
Storage $12 a month per device
Redeployment $70 to $150 per device
HRIS integration $199 a month, optional
Sellback 20% to 70% of original value, paid as cash
Contract None. One device, one order

Every rate above sits on the Tequipy pricing page, which matters more than it sounds when the comparison is against a vendor that publishes none.

GroWrk Key Features

Three capabilities carry the product, and the reviews treat them very differently. One is a claim, one is the most praised thing GroWrk does, and one is the reason plenty of buyers try it at all.

Stand Out Feature #1: Global Coverage and the Reseller Network

GroWrk markets 150+ countries served through more than 600 certified resellers, promises devices to employees within 7 business days, and says in-stock equipment moves in 4 to 5 business days depending on location. Its A La Carte comparison table claims a 99.5% delivery rate, and its A La Carte page claims more than 20,000 employees served.

The model is the same one Tequipy uses, which is why it works where the partner is good and struggles where the partner is not. Customers who buy the coverage argument say so plainly, markup included. "The pricing for international partnerships is lame, but the time saved by my team not having to think about international procurement is awesome", writes one sysadmin in an r/sysadmin comment.

That is the honest version of the trade GroWrk asks buyers to make. Whether it is worth taking depends almost entirely on which countries sit on your hiring list, and the review evidence there is uneven enough to need its own section below.

Stand Out Feature #2: A Dedicated CSM and Shared Slack Channels

This is the best-reviewed thing about GroWrk by a wide margin. Every Flex customer gets a named Customer Success Manager, and shared Slack channels replace a ticket form for day-to-day requests. A director of standards and compliance, three years into the relationship, writes that "Shared Slack Channels are great for asynchronous communication. My CSM and her team always go out of their way to help", in a September 2024 G2 review.

Read the tier line carefully before you count on it. GroWrk's published pricing comparison puts the dedicated Customer Success Manager and the dedicated Account Manager in Flex, alongside the 24/7 AI-assisted support. A La Carte buyers get the same platform and no named owner of their account. The experience the five-star reviews describe is, in other words, the paid experience. When a reviewer praises the support and you are quoting the free tier, you are reading about a different product.

Stand Out Feature #3: The Free A La Carte Tier

A La Carte is genuinely the strongest thing in GroWrk's commercial offer, and it matches the terms Tequipy sells on. The platform costs nothing, every order is itemised and charged on its own, and nothing obliges you to order again. Buyers arrive there by pushing back on the subscription. One sysadmin describes exactly that sequence: "I couldn't justify growrk's subscription model, told them they were too expensive then they pulled out the a la carte and my decision was made", in an r/sysadmin thread comment.

What it leaves out is the list that matters. GroWrk's own pricing comparison places the dedicated CSM, HRIS integrations, zero-touch MDM deployment, the Employee Dashboard, multi-subsidiary support, buy-back and end-of-life services, and the 40+ integrations in Flex only. A La Carte covers procurement, retrieval and storage. Everything that makes a device platform automatic sits on the other side of a 12-month agreement.

GroWrk Pricing

GroWrk publishes no prices. Two third parties have put numbers on it: SelectHub's profile lists a starting price of $12,000 annually, and Quipteams' comparison page reports roughly the same $12,000 a year alongside a 50-employee minimum. On its own Workwize comparison page, GroWrk states a "Standard +15% product markup" with VAT shown as a separate line item, which is the closest thing to an official markup figure anywhere in public.

Item Price
A La Carte platform Free, billed per operation, nothing to renew
Flex platform Monthly management fee per workstation, amount undisclosed
Flex term 12-month initial agreement
Hardware markup Standard 15% on product, VAT as a separate line
Published starting price $12,000 a year, per SelectHub
Offboarding Charged on top of the Flex fee
Buy-back and end-of-life services Flex tier only

GroWrk Positives

  • Customer support, and it is not close: eighteen G2 reviews name support as the best part of the product. "I especially appreciate their exceptional support, always accessible and just a Slack message away for any issues or requests", writes a corporate IT engineer in an October 2024 review.
  • Latin American delivery holds up: named reviewers report consistent service in Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. One IT manager says GroWrk has "made it incredibly easy to ship and retrieve laptops across continents without any hiccups, consistently meeting our timelines, even in challenging locations", in a September 2024 entry.
  • You can try it before you commit to anything: A La Carte turns an evaluation into a single order. A reviewer in health and wellness likes "customizable solutions, which allow me to select only the necessary services without committing to a one-size-fits-all package", per her G2 review.

GroWrk Negatives

  • Price is what G2 reviewers raise second, after delivery: a buyer in hospital and health care puts it bluntly. "Buying assets from them is substantially more expensive (often 2-3 times more) than buying it yourself and shipping it to their warehouse", reads a 2025 G2 review.
  • Delivery outside the core markets: a Czech reviewer gave one star on 31 December 2025, writing that "It's been more than month since I submitted my request, and they still can't deliver a laptop to a Central European country", on Trustpilot. A customer of four to five years told us a set of shipments "took two months to get out the door".
  • Account manager rotation: three G2 reviewers raise it, including a senior IT manager covering the United States and Latin America whose review flags changes of account owner and time-zone mismatch as the weak point.
  • Catalogue and quoting friction: the single critical review on Gartner covers both. "Their asset catalogue is not filtered by spec so it is difficult to find the laptop that's the right fit. Even when you do, they will take days to reveal it's not available and quote you for a different laptop with totally different specs", says the reviewer in a 2.0-rated Gartner review from April 2026.

Customer Reviews

One positive. A three-year customer, a director of standards and compliance shipping across Latin America, sums up the relationship in his G2 review: "I can expect they'll receive similar service." Consistency across a spread of countries is the whole job, and for his footprint GroWrk does it.

Two criticisms. A Czech buyer's one-star Trustpilot review from the last day of 2025 describes a month of waiting for a single Central European delivery. Separately, a hospital and health care reviewer prices the platform against doing it yourself and finds GroWrk "substantially more expensive (often 2-3 times more)", in a G2 review.

Both complaints describe the physical layer rather than the software, which is where remote equipment management tends to break for every vendor in this category.

GroWrk Overall

Four numbers describe this company and none of them means what a quick glance suggests. 4.4 from 36 reviews on G2 is a real score built on a real sample. 3.8 from 15 on Trustpilot is thinner, and two of those fifteen are one-star, one of them a complaint about cold email rather than the service.

3.6 from 5 on Gartner is five people, where the single two-star entry pulls the average down by 0.4, from 4.0 to 3.6. And 94% from 15 reviews on SelectHub is aggregated from one review site, which makes it a restatement rather than a fourth opinion.

Total the unique reviews across every platform and you get roughly 55 to 60 for a company Gartner sizes at 51 to 200 employees. That is a normal footprint for a vendor this size. It is also small enough that a 4.4 from 36 and a 3.6 from 5 cannot be compared as if they were the same kind of measurement.

One more thing skews the Gartner figure. Gartner files GroWrk under Hardware Asset Management Tools and offers InvGate, CerteroX and ServiceNow as its top alternatives. Those are asset management software products rather than device logistics operations, so GroWrk is being rated against a peer set that does not ship anything.

Pro tip: work out how much one review is worth before you read any of them. Divide 5 by the review count on each profile. On a five-rating profile, one reviewer carries a full point of the score. On a profile of 36, one reviewer carries about a seventh of a point.

Then open the lowest-rated review on every platform and check whether its complaint names a category, such as delivery, billing or support, or reads as a one-off. Two independent platforms naming the same category is a pattern worth pricing. One angry reviewer on a thin profile is noise wearing a number. Ask any shortlisted vendor for three reference customers in your own hiring countries, and treat a refusal as data.

Readers who want the shortlist rather than the evidence will find six GroWrk alternatives for 2026 next door, and what IT procurement services cover sets the baseline for what any of them should include.

How to Choose a Device Lifecycle Platform

Three questions separate the vendors in this category, and all three are answerable before you ever see a demo. Each one is a place where published marketing and published reviews disagree.

Feature Consideration #1: Delivery Time You Can Plan Around

Tequipy coverage map across 180+ countries with local partners

An average delivery time tells you nothing about the country you are worried about. A reviewer running GroWrk across Mexico and India for over a year reported on Trustpilot in September 2025 that "their SLA for shipping is two weeks", and that the Mexican storage partner "is quite complicated to work with". Two weeks is a contractual commitment rather than a failure. It is simply a different promise from the 7 business days on the marketing page.

Tequipy delivers in 3 business days on average and 10 at the outside, anywhere it operates. Booksy tested that on Latin America first, the region it found hardest, and now records 99% delivery before each new joiner's start date.

Feature Consideration #2: What the Hardware Actually Costs

Tequipy country pricing view for locally sourced devices

Start with what is public. GroWrk's own Workwize comparison page states a standard 15% product markup, and a G2 reviewer in hospital and health care puts the gap higher, at "often 2-3 times more" than buying direct, in that review.

A current GroWrk customer who evaluated Tequipy told us the same thing with a number attached: a MacBook they could buy for $1,700 to $1,800 came back quoted at $2,500 to $2,600, which they called unsustainable. That is one buyer's evaluation rather than a published rate, and it points the same way as the public evidence.

Tequipy sells at recommended retail price, delivery included, at any order size. Ask both vendors to quote your standard configuration in your top five countries, then compare the totals rather than the percentages.

Feature Consideration #3: What You Pay Before You Ship Anything

Tequipy cost calculator, used to price the markup GroWrk reviews describe

That calculator is public. Enter your headcount, your yearly volumes for new hires, offboardings, redeployments and storage, then your current vendor's hardware markup and its platform and per-device fees, and the Tequipy pricing calculator returns the difference. It takes about thirty seconds and no sales call is attached.

A per-workstation monthly fee on a 12-month term charges you in the months when nothing happens. Buyers notice. "I only wanna pay for what I use", one sysadmin wrote of GroWrk's subscription in an r/sysadmin comment, before switching to the free tier.

Whatever the fleet size, Tequipy charges a flat $99 a month for the platform, and charges nothing below 100 devices. Services are billed in the month they are used. Zero-touch deployment for new hires and laptop retrieval for departing employees are priced per event, and the stages in between run on the same terms under IT asset lifecycle management.

Alternative To GroWrk: Tequipy

Tequipy dashboard tracking devices through the full lifecycle

Tequipy handles what happens to a company laptop from purchase to retirement, in whichever country the employee happens to live. No headcount minimum applies, hardware is sold at the price the local market charges, and none of it requires a signature to begin.

Tequipy Key Features

Three things separate it from the vendors it is usually compared against, and each one changes what a buyer pays or how long they wait.

Stand Out Feature #1: Local Sourcing in 180+ Countries

Each order is placed with an authorized reseller in the market where the employee actually lives, drawn from a network of more than 600 partners spanning 180+ countries. Outside the EEA nothing crosses a border, which removes customs, duties and the two-week transit windows that come with them. It also removes the currency surprise flagged in one GroWrk G2 review, where prices moved with exchange rates and regional provider policies.

The coverage includes markets most vendors quietly skip: the Philippines, Brazil, India, Colombia, the UAE, and the Caucasus and Central Asia. Devices have reached employees in wartime Ukraine. Where there is an authorized reseller and a courier, there is a delivery, and the commitment is the same 10 business days at the outside no matter which country is on the order.

Stand Out Feature #2: The Full Lifecycle on Devices We Did Not Sell

Procurement, MDM and Apple Business Manager enrolment, servicing, retrieval, storage, redeployment and sellback all run through one account. Every one of them works on equipment bought somewhere else, which is the part buyers rarely check until they are mid-migration and discover their existing fleet is invisible to the new platform.

That matters at the moment of switching. A team leaving an incumbent does not have to replace its hardware to change supplier, and it does not have to run two processes for two generations of laptop. RemoFirst runs this loop through Tequipy across 30 countries, with every company device returned and close to $2,000 per employee protected against loss.

Stand Out Feature #3: Direct Access Through a Shared Slack Channel

Shared Slack channel between a customer team and Tequipy

Every customer gets a Slack channel staffed by the people who know the account, and the answer usually arrives in minutes. There is no ticket form, no tier-one triage and no account manager whose job is to pass the question along.

Lisa Kiseleva, People Operations Specialist at Gigs, whose team hires across 20 countries, puts it this way: "They're hands-down one of the most responsive and solution-oriented teams I've worked with." Gigs saved more than 100 hours a month and scaled without hiring anyone to run device logistics.

Tequipy Pricing

Item Price
Platform $99 a month flat at any fleet size, free under 100 devices
Hardware Recommended retail price, delivery included
Offboarding $70 to $150 per device, by country
Storage $12 a month per device
Redeployment $70 to $150 per device
Sellback 20% to 70% of original value, paid as cash
Contract None

Where Tequipy Shines

  • Countries where other vendors get vague: the same workflow and the same commitment apply in Bogotá, Manila and Manchester. Booksy started in Latin America precisely because it was the region that had failed before, then expanded everywhere else.
  • Speed that repeats: 3 business days on average, 10 at the outside, and 99% of devices in an employee's hands before their first morning. Three late deliveries in the last 5,000 devices shipped.
  • Total annual cost rather than the monthly rate: a bundled per-employee fee at $12 to $20 a month costs a 500-person company around $10,000 a month whether or not anything ships. TapTap Send consolidated three purchasing processes and now records about $6,500 a month in savings and 40+ hours a month returned to its team.

Where Tequipy Falls Short

  • SOC 2 is in progress and not held today. GroWrk holds SOC 2 Type 2. Tequipy holds ISO 27001, runs penetration tests and shares the reports, and hosts in Europe. Buyers whose security review will not pass without SOC 2 should ask the team how far along that work has got.
  • The public review base is small. The G2 profile carries three reviews at 4.8 as of September 2026, against 36 for GroWrk. Named case studies and customer references carry more weight here than the star rating does.
  • There is no leasing or financing. Devices are bought outright and stay on the balance sheet. Finance teams that want them off it should look at a different kind of supplier.

Tequipy Customer Reviews

Marcin Szydłowski, Director of Enterprise Technology and Security at Booksy, describes the test that started the relationship in the Booksy case study: "They managed it perfectly, which gave us the confidence to start using their services for other geographies as well." Booksy had been struggling with Latin America specifically.

Lera Lykholiet, People Operations Specialist at RemoFirst, describes what changed after two years in the RemoFirst case study: "now we don't have to worry about device logistics at all." Her team had been trying to collect devices left behind in Colombia, the UK and Kazakhstan.

Who Tequipy Is Best For

  • IT leads at 200 to 500 person companies hiring in five or more countries: high order volume, a small team, and a new country arriving every quarter.
  • Teams facing a GroWrk or Deel IT renewal: a renewal date is a deadline. Running a parallel order through a second supplier during the notice period costs nothing and produces two invoices to compare.
  • HR and Ops people who own equipment as a side job: ordering by role, delivery to a home address, and a Slack channel instead of a vendor management process.
  • Companies hiring beyond the home country for the first time: the day a new joiner starts in a market with no entity, no reseller account and nobody local to hand over a laptop, the domestic process stops working.

CONCLUSION

Final Word on Tequipy

If your people are in the United States and Latin America, and A La Carte covers what you need, GroWrk is a fair choice and its reviewers say so without much qualification. The support is genuinely good and the free tier lets you find out cheaply.

If your hiring map is wider than that, or if the quote you have been given carries a markup and a 12-month term, price the alternative properly. Bring your country list to the Tequipy team, read the published rates, and put one real order through each supplier. We gave Workwize reviews the same treatment if you are comparing more than one incumbent.

FAQ

How Many Reviews Does GroWrk Have?

Roughly 55 to 60 across every platform as of September 2026: 36 on G2, 15 on Trustpilot, and 5 ratings on Gartner Peer Insights.

Why Do GroWrk's Ratings Differ Between G2, Trustpilot and Gartner?

Sample size. A profile of 36 reviews averages out one bad experience. A profile of five ratings cannot, so a single critical review drops the score sharply.

Does GroWrk Mark Up Hardware?

Yes. GroWrk's own Workwize comparison page states a standard 15% product markup, and G2 reviewers report paying two to three times more than buying direct.

How Long Does GroWrk Take to Deliver a Laptop?

Seven business days is the published claim, and four to five for in-stock items. Reviewers in Mexico and India report a two-week shipping SLA instead.

Which Category Does Gartner Put GroWrk In?

Hardware Asset Management Tools, alongside InvGate, CerteroX and ServiceNow. Those are software products, so GroWrk is rated against a peer set that ships nothing.
